Document Scanners

JC Kelly recommends Fujitsu Document Scanners

Going paperless means you digitise everything

A document scanner is essential for any organisation aspiring to achieve a "paperless office" because, let's face it, there is no such thing. Despite our belief that we're living in the 21st century, paper continues to arrive in our offices through both the front and back doors and even our phone lines because, yes, fax is still hanging on. From tax bills to packing slips, taxi chits to pizza receipts, paper will bury you if it's not dealt with upon arrival.

Fujitsu offers a family of high quality imaging products that covers the whole range of scanning applications from desktop and departmental installations to enterprise wide production environments. Fujitsu scanners deliver speed, image quality, superior paper handling, and reliability. It's a family that continues to evolve with new products and solutions designed to meet the need of a rapidly growing Document Imaging marketplace.

We recommend Fujitsu's fi-series of document scanners for ease-of-use, reliability, and functionality.  The fi-series includes TWAIN and ISIS drivers for integration into most business applications, including our preferred document management system, PaperOffice.

Fujitsu fi-7240

The fi-72xx scanners are favoured for their flexibility as they provide both a flatbed and an 80-page automatic document feeder (ADF) in a single unit.

With the included TWAIN and ISIS drivers, this model is compatible with virtually all Windows, Mac, and Linux applications.

The available models in the fi-72xx series differ only in speed and daily duty cycle.

Fujitsu fi-7300NX

The fi-7300NX is an Ethernet network attached scanner that does not require connection to a PC for operation. Ideal for use as a shared resource in a mailroom or reception area.

Once again, the included TWAIN and ISIS drivers make this unit universally compatible with document management and imaging applications.
