Planning is key to any substantial IT project and the implementation of Google Apps Premier Edition is no exception. JC Kelly Microsolutions has a proven methodology and a complete set of planning materials to minimize the pain and ensure nothing is missed. Unless your existing mail system is fully documented (user names, aliases, forwarding addresses etc.), we strongly suggest a formalized migration plan. Often, during this planning, we find we can reduce the number of Google Apps accounts required by employing aliasing and/or group email addresses. Also defined at this stage are Message Security rules regarding message sizes, type of attachments allowed and message content filtering. The Message Security configuration should reflect the rules set out in the IT Policy section of your employee handbook. |
